Beautiful Plants For Your Interior
(the prep work/beginning stages)..

Hello all! This summer has been a crazy time and I thought it should be put down on paper to be able to look back on in the future. Especially with lineups for this festival season coming out, it would be interesting to put together some posts about last festival season. I hope you enjoy…
I graduated from college in May of this last year and I was itching to do something. For my whole last semester of college I had been casually looking for a camper van because it just felt like the next right step. Once I had that I started researching which festivals I might want to go to. Many of these festivals have some awesome lineups because of the few years that we were in COVID so all them are stacked with great artists. But there are only so many weekends in a summer so I had to pick and choose the artists/festivals that I really wanted to go to.
As I am doing tons of research on festivals, honestly the best way to find ones that might interest you is to follow some of your favorite artists on Instagram. When those artists share what festivals they are going to be, make sure to add those to the list of festivals you might consider going to. Doing this helped me to be able to see what festivals were out there (many I had never heard of before) and which ones will be at the top of my list to plan to attend that summer. Then I made a list of my top artists I want to see and what would work with where I was planning to head this summer. Once I had that list I would research on their website if there was a volunteer or work exchange program as going to music festivals is super expensive and can add up with camping, parking, ticket, etc. Below are the festivals/events that I went to last summer.
WonderRoad Music Festival ~ Indianapolis, IN – June 11-12th
Green River Music Festival ~ Greenfield, MA – June 24-26th
Winnipeg Folk Festival ~ Winnipeg, MB, Canada – July 7-10th
River Song Music Festival ~ Hutchinson, MN – July 15-16th
Hinterland Music Festival ~ St. Charles, IA – Aug 4-7th
Project North Festival ~ Rhinelander, WI – Sept 16-17th
Boats and Bluegrass ~ Winona, MN – Sept. 23-24th
All Things Go ~ Columbia, MD – Oct 1st
Roots N Blues Music Festival -Columbia, MO ~ Oct 7-9th
This is my first ever blog post so we are learning as we go. These might change over time depending on how I feel, maybe more pictures, maybe less text or maybe a mix; we shall see. Come back next week for my next post!

Everything is going well here. My daughter Amy came a couple of weeks ago and I’m hoping she stays until at least the first of June!

Hello Carol!
Great to hear from you! I think this blog writing will be a really fun hobby and something great to look back on in the future.
I will hopefully be updated by the time I get to the Tetons so at that point I can blog in real time. Well maybe not exactly on real time for safety reasons but very close to it! With the blogs for this summer I hope to include some photography of the Tetons too so look forward to that!
Oh fun, I bet you had a great time with your daughter. I hope you guys were able to get out to the beach before red tide came in. Thanks for the update! I might be up in your area by the end of next week, if all works out, we should go out to lunch!
Thanks for commenting, it is great hearing from you!
